Our Vision

To promote African Heritage and to encourage individuals of African descent living around the world, to reconnect to their African roots through organized cultural trips and cultural activities.

Our belief is that a human being with neither ancestral nor cultural identity lacks the necessary foundation for self-affirmation in the present and, without this indispensable fuel, cannot make constructive projections into the future.

We hope this short Video of Dr. Cheikh Anta Diop will help clarify some of the terms used by Africa Quest, and allow everyone to understand how important is our heritage in our mental and social development.

We invite our readers to keep in mind that the ultimate intentions behind this video is to educate the general public, and to incite African Descendents to be aware of their identity, and to take pride of their history, for a better relationship between all the races and cultures. Dr. Cheikh. Anta Diop sums it well at the end of his presentation when he says : " It is fine to know the history of others, but you must know your own self first... People who loose their historical memory have become a very fragile people...The fullness of our culture will help us in finding or seeking fraternity among races that we must have."("Cultural fullness should help create racial brotherhood") (In French: "La plenitude culturelle doit faciliter la fraternisation des races") .More Videos Of Dr. Diop
